Gov Data Files sells files built from government records for business-to-business marketing, research and software. By buying you agree to these rules and the Terms of Service.

Allowed

• Marketing your product or service to the businesses and organizations in the files.
• Market research, territory planning, analysis and sales prioritisation.
• Loading the files into your own CRM or internal tools.

Not allowed

• Any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act: deciding anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or a similar benefit. We are not a consumer reporting agency.
• Building a people-search, background-check or tenant-screening product, or looking up individuals for personal reasons.
• Calls or texts that ignore the TCPA, the National Do Not Call Registry or state telemarketing laws. Autodialed or prerecorded calls and texts need the prior express consent those laws require.
• Email without a working unsubscribe and a postal address (CAN-SPAM).
• Contacting anyone at home about matters unrelated to their business. Healthcare and child care files are for reaching the organizations as businesses only, never patients, families or children.
• Reselling, publishing, sharing or putting the data in a product others can access, without a written redistribution license from us.
• Harassment or discrimination.

What's in the files

Only records the agencies publish: trucking companies, moving companies, bus, van and limo operators, healthcare organizations, nursing homes, home health and hospice, dialysis facilities, licensed contractors, child care centers, assisted living and home care, benefits brokers, fee-only investment advisers, tax preparers. Healthcare files cover organizations, not individual practitioners. Child care files cover centers, not family child care homes. For sole proprietors and other individuals we keep only city, state and ZIP, never a street address or email, and list people only in their business or professional role.

Removal requests

Anyone listed can ask us to remove their record from future files: email support@sabrsoftware.com. We act within 30 days.
